Close your eyes and think of a New England village. What do you see? You might see something close to Larrabee Street Neighborhood: tree-lined streets with houses of varying sizes but with a common, traditional style; sidewalks and a town close enough to walk to; pocket green spaces; and a hill to climb to see whether there is snow on Mount Monadnock.

Larrabee Street Neighborhood is a new neighborhood in Peterborough, New Hampshire. It is adjacent to the Peterborough Elementary School and the Monadnock Country Club. This neighborhood has been carefully designed to integrate into the town.

Larrabee Street is intended to be a neighborhood for young people just starting out, older couples who want the convenience of an in-town location, and those in the middle who would like to be in the thick of things. Houses will range in size from 600 square foot cottages up to 3000 square foot single-family homes.

The houses of Larrabee Street will incorporate green building techniques both in construction method and materials. Houses will vary in size so that residents can find just the right one--not too big, not too small.

Dooryard gardens, front porches, clotheslines, sidewalks and green space all contribute to the feeling of Larrabee Street neighborhood. We think it's going to be a wonderful addition to a great town.
